D600: Thomas Kunz

I shot this image of Thomas Kunz of Xrite this past Saturday in New York city with the D600. Lousy day for light and though warmish it was a day that wanted to be cold. Again the camera's ability to shoot at 4000iso with no noise absolutely blows me away.

I chose the D600 over the D800 and D4 because I needed high ISO with a higher MP than 16 for this image. I got hook on the D3x so to have 24MP AND be able to shoot at 4000iso does get my attention. I am really hoping for a D4x.... A boy can dream I suppose. This year has been nothing short of amazing with regard to Nikon cameras. True I have spent the down payment of a house, but WOW....

This image was captured by a Nikon D600camera. 28-300  VR II lens in the Nikon Electronic Image File Formant (.NEF) Shot on Lexar 32 gigabyte 1000 speed UDMA Flash media 800 iso. file was post processed using Capture NX2 Photoshop CS6, Nik Color Efex 4.0 and Silver Efex Pro 2.

Final file is stored and scaled using Genuine Fractals.
