What was so precious about this moment, was after I did his portrait he asked if he could I would take one of him with his dog. When that dog was in his arms I watched him change and that dog wet from being the friendly mop head with four legs that it had been for the whole shoot to being so protective of him while Ko Ko Gyi was holding him that it was a wise idea to count your fingers. or both dog and man there was no one else in the room.This is an infra red portrait of the Burmese dissident Ko Ko Gyi and his dog. He and another dissident, Min Ko Naing were the two people most responsible for convincing Aung San Suu Kyi to become the leader of the National League for Democracy. He spent almost 20 years in prison for his beliefs.

ated VR II lens using the Nikon electronic file format (.Nef) Shot on Lexar 32 gigabyte 1000 speed UDMA Flash media. file was post processed using capture NX 2.0 software, Nik Color Efex 4.0 and Silver Efex Pro 2.0.
