Traveled out to the middle of Inle lake in a long boat that is maybe 3-4 inches above the water in complete darkness. To get to the lake we have to travel through tall marsh grasses for about 15 minutes, then a half hour to the "spot" where the fish are today. Once the motor is off we drift until the long boat hits a tuft of floating marsh grass and Lotus. It is quite, I can hear the blood rushing through my ears. As the sun begins to rise, the air around me be comes, and I watch the fisherman materialize out of the darkness.
This was the last shot of my card on the D4, 32 gig lexar. I filled the card this morning. It was like watching ballet. Even more amazing is this is 2500 iso. Zero noise. I have shot the D800, D600, V1, D7000 on this trip. The D4 is by far the most amazing piece of hardware I have shot with.
