Writing With Light Using a Nikon D4 as Canvas and Brush...

Traveled out to the middle of Inle lake in a long boat that is maybe 3-4 inches above the water in complete darkness. To get to the lake we have to travel through tall marsh grasses for about 15 minutes, then a half hour to the "spot" where the fish are today.  Once the motor is off we drift until the long boat hits a tuft of floating marsh grass and Lotus. It is quite, I can hear the blood rushing through my ears. As the sun begins to rise, the air around me be comes, and I watch the fisherman materialize out of the darkness.

This was the last shot of my card on the D4, 32 gig lexar. I filled the card this morning. It was like watching ballet.  Even more amazing is this is 2500 iso. Zero noise. I have shot the D800, D600, V1, D7000 on this trip. The D4 is by far the most amazing piece of hardware I have shot with.

This image was captured by a Nikon D-4camera. 28-300 VR II lens in the Nikon Electronic Image File Formant (.NEF)  Shot on Lexar 32 gigabyte 1000 speed UDMA Flash media. file was post processed using Capture NX2 Photoshop CS6, Nik Color Efex 4.0.

Final file is stored and scaled using Genuine Fractals.
