D800IR Quinceañera Image 2

Jay Maisel once quipped "I fall in a 1000 times a day at a  1/250th of a second. I apparently do not believe in long relationships or long exposures." For me the most successful portraits are the ones where you photograph the person where they hide. You see the moment of innocence that each of us holds within.

This is the second  image of of a young Cuban girl posing during her Quinceañera was captured during my Palm beach workshop to Cuba. I was walking by and she was just standing outside the hotel whilst the party was going on. The image was captured by a Nikon D-800 camera modified for infrared. Super Enhanced color conversion done by LifePixel with a 28-300 mm Nano coated VR II lens
using the Nikon electronic file format (.Nef) Shot on Lexar 32 gigabyte 1000 speed UDMA Flash media. file was post processed using capture NX 2.0 software, Nik Color Efex 4.0 and Silver Efex Pro 2.0.
