D600 Following the RGB Road to Chromatic Grayscale

To make a great Black and White image you have to start with a great color image. It is the complete and total mastery of the color image that gives you the total control you need to create an extraordinary Black and White one.
It is the way image structure is interperated in the Red Green and Blue channel in the pure grayscale that offer the most profound results when creating an image chromatic grayscale.
This image was captured by a Nikon D-600 with a 24-120 mm Nano coated VR II lens using the Nikon electronic file format (.Nef) Shot on Lexar 128 gigabyte Smart Media media. file was post processed using capture NX 2.0 software, Nik Color Efex 4.0. The Chromatic grayscale conversion was done using the multiple Silver Efex plug-in layer approach discussed in Chapter 8 of my book "From Oz to Kansas"
