D800 01

Personally I prefer to light my subjects with a thermonuclear device. Call me crazy but there is something so delicate about the light of a split atom. Some how high intensity, fraction of a second AA battery powered short burst lighting sounds more like a really quick one night stand than a pretty way to light. But then again that's just me I suppose...

This image was captured  by a Nikon D-800 at 400iso with a 28-300 mm VR II lens using the Nikon electronic file format (.Nef) Shot on Lexar 128 gigabyte Compact Flash 1000x media. A Westcott 5 in 1 Reflector was used as the light modifier. The file was post processed using capture NX 2.0 software, Photoshop CS6 Nik Color Efex 4.0.
