Jay Maisel says "Light, gesture and color are key components to any photograph. Light and color are obvious, but it is gesture that is the most important." There is gesture in everything. The goal is to find the gesture that is most telling. Photographs happen at speed of life. Frequently I find images happen burst of three. So I am always prepared for that eventuality.
This image was captured during my recent Palm Beach Photographic Workshop trip to Cuba. This image was captured at 200iso with a 28-300mm VR II lens on a 128 GB Lexar SD card. The File was the Nikon Electronic Image File format (.NEF). The image was post processed with Capture NX2 and Photoshop CS6 using Google's Nik collection software's Color efex Pro 3.0 and Viviza plug-ins.
Final file is stored and scaled using Genuine Fractals.
